Boston University Career Services
Joyce first came to the College of Communication in 1975 where she worked in the Mass Communication and Journalism Departments. In 1986 she started COM Career Services. She develops programs and services covering all aspects of career development. Additionally, Joyce provides career counseling for students and alumni, plans networking events, and instructs career seminars. She currently works with the COM Career Coordinator and a large student staff to provide on-campus recruiting, job and internship postings, resume services, networking programs, special events, and special opportunities.

Kelly provides specialized counseling and career development advice to the 2300+ College of Communication students and alumni. She cultivates local employers for the purpose of enhancing and expanding on-campus and off-campus recruiting programs for students. Kelly also coordinates the hiring, orientation, training, and scheduling of all Career Services graduate assistants and work study students. She develops and runs career-related seminars and workshops to provide students with the skills necessary to perform a successful job search. Additionally, Kelly maintains, updates, and develops new content for the Career Services website, as well as works to expand its’ social media platforms.
